For a buyer, fashion week is less about the shows and more about showrooms, collection viewings and the order window.
Milan Fashion Week follows the official calendar of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. Most shows are closed and invitation-only, but for buying something else matters more: during these days and right after, Milan showrooms receive buyers who view collections and place orders. We prepare fashion week from a buying perspective: we select showrooms for your segment, arrange viewings and negotiate. When it takes place
Milan women's fashion week is held twice a year. The Spring-Summer 2027 shows run from 22 to 28 September 2026. The February edition with fall-winter collections usually falls at the end of February; Camera Moda will announce the exact 2027 dates later. Men's fashion week is held separately, in January and June.
Shows and showrooms
Shows are by invitation: press, buyers from major stores, brand partners. Showrooms receive professional buyers by appointment, and a brand may ask for information about your store. We help you prepare a company presentation and arrange a viewing, but the brand decides on access.
Where to stay and getting around
Milan hotels get pricier and sell out during fashion week, so book 1-2 months ahead. Showrooms are spread across different parts of the city; the metro or a driver is the easiest way between appointments. Plan a separate day for Florence and Prato: the high-speed train from Milan takes about two hours.

1-2 months before fashion week. Appointments at popular showrooms go quickly, and preparing your store presentation also takes time.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get into the shows?
Shows are by brand invitation, and nobody can guarantee you a seat. For buying it is not necessary anyway: collections are viewed and ordered in showrooms.
Can I buy a small quantity in a showroom?
The minimum order is set by the brand and can be high. If it does not work for you, we find Prato showrooms and manufacturers with smaller runs; our minimum order is €500.
What if I cannot make it to fashion week?
For many brands the spring-summer order window runs until November, and some showrooms receive buyers after fashion week too. You can also do a live shopping session from Prato showrooms.
