Pitti Bimbo, the children's fashion fair, takes place at the Fortezza da Basso twice a year. It brings together clothing, footwear and accessories brands for children and teenagers. For a childrenswear store it is a way to compare suppliers in one or two days. For anyone launching their own label it is also a trend review before talking to a factory. We help with both.
Pitti Bimbo dates
Pitti Bimbo 104 runs 20-21 January 2027, and edition 105 is scheduled for 23-24 June 2027. Venue: Fortezza da Basso, Florence. In both seasons the fair runs on the same days as Pitti Filati, with Pitti Uomo shortly before.
Access and documents
Entry is for industry professionals with advance registration on the Pitti Immagine website. Childrenswear is usually subject to stricter requirements than adult clothing: when buying, we ask suppliers for material certificates and test reports in advance. Which documents you need depends on the importing country.
Where to stay
The easiest base is near Santa Maria Novella station or in Florence's historic centre, within walking distance of the Fortezza da Basso. If several factories are on the programme, you can spend some nights in Prato, closer to production and with easier parking.
