Shipping Clothing from Italy to Armenia

We buy in Prato and Florence for boutiques and showrooms in Yerevan, inspect the goods and ship them with documents for EAEU customs.

Armenia has been a member of the Eurasian Economic Union since 2015, so clothing from Italy is imported under the common EAEU customs tariff. On import, 20% VAT is generally charged on the value plus duty. The EU and Armenia have a Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), but it is not a free trade area: it does not remove EAEU duties on Italian goods. Clothing and textiles fall under TR CU 017/2011, children's items under TR CU 007/2011, and conformity must be confirmed by an applicant registered in an EAEU country. Consumer information on the label is generally required in Armenian and, under EAEU regulations, also in Russian. The Armenian market is relatively small, so buyers often purchase in short runs: orders like these are easy to put together through us.

What we do for shipments to Armenia

01

Air freight to Yerevan

Consolidated air shipments for small and urgent consignments. For a boutique buying capsule collections this is often the best option.

02

Road freight

Groupage trucks through our logistics partners for larger orders. We give the transit time after quoting with the carrier.

03

Bilingual labels

We agree label information in Armenian and Russian with the factory: name, composition, care, size, manufacturer and importer.

04

Data for TR CU

We request compositions, style descriptions, test reports where available, and samples for the certification body from the factory.

05

Capsule buying

We select a few styles from different factories and show the goods in a live session, so you can build a collection without travelling.

06

Export from Italy

Invoice with HS codes, packing list, export declaration and, on request, a certificate of origin from the Chamber of Commerce.

Why it is more convenient with us

Short runs

The €500 minimum applies to the whole purchase, not to each factory: practical for small boutiques.

No surprises

We check quality and quantities in Italy and send photos and videos before dispatch.

Checks under EU rules

We screen the consignee against EU sanctions lists and work with companies that sell the goods in Armenia.

No mark-up

Invoices come from the factories, and our commission is 7 to 10% depending on the order value.

FAQ

Is there a preferential duty rate for Italian clothing?

As a rule, no. The EU and Armenia CEPA covers cooperation and regulation but does not create a free trade area, so the common EAEU tariff applies.

Which taxes are paid on import into Armenia?

Duty by EAEU commodity code, 20% VAT on the value plus duty, and customs fees. Your customs broker calculates the exact amount for your goods.

Is a declaration of conformity required?

For most light-industry products, yes, under TR CU 017/2011 or TR CU 007/2011 for children's items. The applicant is a company registered in the EAEU, usually the importer.

Can I order a very small batch?

Yes, from €500 per order. For small volumes, air or groupage freight usually works out cheaper; we choose the option once the weight and volume of the cartons are known.
