We collect wholesale orders from Prato factories and showrooms and ship them to buyers in Minsk and other Belarusian cities through our logistics partners.
Belarus is subject to a separate EU sanctions regime, Council Regulation 765/2006. Since 1 July 2024 its Article 1ga and Annex XXV prohibit selling and exporting luxury goods to any person in Belarus or for use in Belarus where the value of an item exceeds EUR 300 (for some items the annex sets a higher threshold). Clothing, footwear, bags and leather goods are on that list. Inexpensive mass-market clothing is generally not covered by this ban. The regulation contains other restrictions as well, so as of 2026 we check every order against the version in force, not from memory. Belarus is a member of the EAEU, so the union's common technical regulations apply to clothing, and in addition Belarus has its own national digital marking system, Elektronny Znak. The Belarusian importer is responsible for conformity and marking. On the Italian side we check item values and screen the parties to the deal against the EU sanctions lists, we do not work with listed persons and we do not export goods covered by the bans. FAQ about shipping to Belarus
Does the same EUR 300 rule apply to Belarus as to Russia?
A similar one, but under a separate regulation. For Belarus the export ban on luxury goods worth more than EUR 300 per item is set by Regulation 765/2006 and has applied since July 2024. We check every line against the version in force on the date of shipment.
Does clothing need marking in Belarus?
For a large share of light-industry goods, yes: Belarus runs the Elektronny Znak system with DataMatrix codes, and the importer marks the goods before import. The list of product groups is being extended in stages, so it is worth confirming the requirements for your range before you order.
Is a declaration of conformity required?
For most items, yes: clothing falls under TR CU 017/2011, children's goods under TR CU 007/2011. The applicant is a company registered in the EAEU, usually the importer itself. We pass on compositions, descriptions and label samples from the factory.
How long does freight take to Minsk?
By consolidated road freight through our logistics partners, roughly two to four weeks after dispatch from Italy. Timing depends on the situation at the border and on customs clearance; the partner gives a precise estimate at booking.
How does payment work?
Payment terms are agreed individually, through channels permitted by EU rules. The factories invoice the goods, and our commission is invoiced separately.
